Black Butterflies

Synopsis

Black Butterflies is an experimental documentary inspired by the "We Matter" photo series by Adrian Walker. The focus of the piece will center around the sub-culture of durags and the Black bodies which are crowned by them. Aesthetically cosmic and raw inperformance, "Black Butterflies" is a visual capsule of confidence, pride, self-awareness, and a statement of history expressed through more than fashion alone.
